Ingredients

| Cooked Barnyard Millet | 1 cup |
| Finely chopped onion | 1/2 cup |
| Grated carrot | 1/2 cup |
| Mashed potato | 1/2 cup |
| Ginger grated | 2 tbsp |
| Finely chopped green chilli | 2 |
| Salt | To taste |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Red chilli powder | 1 tsp |
| Jeera powder | 1 tbsp |
| Amchoor powder | 1 tbsp |
| Besan / gram flour | 2 tbsp |
| Finely chopped coriander | As needed |
Instructions
- •Wash and soak 1/2 cup millet for 30 mins. Then pressure cook it in a vessel ( pot in pot method) with 1.25 cups of water, for 3 whistles on medium flame.
- •Once the millet is cooked drain if there is any excess water and let it cool ( it hardens on cooling)
- •Then mix all the ingredients and make small patties by greasing your hands.
- •Shallow fry them on medium flame till golden brown.
- •Enjoy this with some yummy mint chutney.
